Powder- Ombré brows

Call Today: (720) 327-9130

What are powder brows?

Ombré shading is semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique which utilizes a small tool to place extremely tiny dots of pigment into the skin. This creates a soft-shaded pencil brow look by varying the density of the dots to create a natural fade. Powder shading is similar, however instead of fading the brow, the entire brow will be shaded in the same.

How are Ombré Brows done?

1

Design

Your bone structure and face shape will come into play when you sit down to discuss your design options. We will take measurements and consult with you so that your eyebrows can be reshaped to perfectly frame your eyes.
2

Color

We will help you pick the most natural shade for your skin tone and hair color.
3

Pigmentation

Tiny dots of pigment are inserted beneath the skin using a micro blade tool. This process is done in layers to achieve the desired effect and look of the brow.
4

Touch-Up

6-8 weeks after the first treatment, given that there were no complications, a follow up appointment is usually advised to get the full effect.

Ombré brows FAQ

How is it different than microblading?

They are similar, however, microblading utilizes thin lines to make up the look of the brow, whereas ombré brows utilize small dots to makeup the structure and design of the brow.

How long do they last?

Though the results will vary from person to person, they will be visible for about two to five years. Retention relies on a variety of factors including lifestyle, skin type, sun exposure, etc.

Can I do this if I have oily skin?

Yes. Unlike microblading, this process is great for any skin type.

What does the healing process look like?

The initial healing process takes 10 to 14 days. In the first few days, they will look dark and thick. Around day five, they may scab and flake slightly. After a few days, they may appear a bit light. However, at the end of the 10-14 day healing period they should look healed and natural, with maybe a few spots that need to be touched up. A follow up appointment may be necessary after the initial appointment.

Does it hurt worse than microblading?

Many clients actually report that this procedure is less painful than microblading. For our beauties with low pain-tolerance, this procedure is the better option of the two since it is less invasive and therefore less painful.
